FLOWS

Post-Play Button Flows

Different flows depending on player progression

The experience evolves as players progress through the game, introducing boosters and multiplier mechanics at different stages. These flows illustrate how the interface responds to player actions and progression.

Levels 5 and onward & Multiplier

One of my key contributions to Sequence World was designing the Multiplier interface. I explored different layouts and visual solutions to clearly communicate how increasing the multiplier affects both the cost of playing and potential rewards.

The challenge was to bring several connected elements: the multiplier control, play cost, and rewards, into a clear, intuitive, and visually consistent interface.

After each tap on the multiplier, the multiplier button changes color, the arrow moves to the next segment indicating a higher value, and the background image of the entire element shifts upward.

If the player doesn't have enough hard currency, the amount required to play turns red on the Play button. If the player taps Play anyway, a pop-up appears offering the option to purchase more hard currency.

UI DESIGN

Game Elements & Screens

For Sequence World, I worked on a wide range of UI projects, from small interface elements to complete screens. My work included designing new features from scratch as well as refining existing interfaces to improve their visual quality, clarity, and consistency.

Treasure Trail

Reward System

A time-limited reward feature designed to encourage daily engagement. Players follow a treasure map to collect coins, gems, and special rewards, with an optional rewarded ad to unlock their prize.

BRAND DESIGN

Logo & App Icon Design

Alongside my UI work, I refreshed the Sequence World logo, designed the app icon, and created the game's splash screen. These elements helped establish a consistent visual identity across the game and its store presence. The updated logo and app icon were implemented in the released game.

Final Thoughts

Working on Sequence World at Goliath Digital was an incredibly rewarding experience and a fascinating introduction to the world of mobile gaming.

I immersed myself in mobile game UX, spending countless hours exploring casual and hybrid-casual games, researching industry trends, and learning what makes these experiences so engaging.

Beyond the design work itself, I had the opportunity to collaborate with a fantastic team of designers, product specialists, and developers, while gaining insight into the world of an internationally established games and toys company.

I also had the chance to contribute to another game project, which I unfortunately can't showcase here due to an NDA.

These months were filled with learning, creative challenges, and inspiring people. Although this chapter ended sooner than I had hoped, it remains one of the most exciting and valuable experiences in my design journey.
